Search Engines and Reconsidering Relevance

[slideshare id=901153&doc=reconsidering-relevance-1231426605583628-1&w=425]

Chief Endeca Scientist  Dr. Daniel Tunkelang delivered this Presentation at the NYC offices of Google on January 7th, 2009. I predict it becomes a search geek classic and I’m thrilled to present it for my readers benefit. Dr. Tunkelang provides us with a compelling piece, insightful, informative as he builds upon the excellent article by Dr. Tefko.

Tefko Saracevic’s article, “Relevance Reconsidered”. If you are interested in learning more about the history of relevance I highly recommend his 2007 Lazerow Memorial Lecture on “Relevance in Information Science”

Any chance you can post some information that would clarify how we are to establish business credit?
